Caspian/Gaastra Truck 1 is an 2003 aluminum bodied pumper built on a Freightliner FL70 four door chassis with a 300 horsepower Cummins ISC engine and a Allison MD3060 automatic transmission. A 1250gpm Waterous pump with top mount control panel, Class 1 pressure governor and a 1000 gallon Poly Tank®. There is a heat pan under pump compartment and (1) 2-1/2” discharge each side, (2) 2/1-2” discharges on the rear panel, (1) 2-1/2” Speedlay, (2) 1-1/2” Speedlays, and (1) 3” deck gun discharge at the top of pump compartment. There are (2) 6” Inlets (1) each side, and (1) 2-1/2” inlet on the left side. The body is all aluminum with high side compartments on both sides. The body also houses ladder and suction hose storage next to tank with rear access doors. (4) SCBA bottle storage compartments are located in the rear wheelwells. Other options include (4) Fire Research telescoping FOCUS Lights, Federal and Code 3 visual and audiable warning systems and a Code 3 Arrowstick recessed in rear panel. The Fire truck is also equiped with foam to use in case of a car fire.
Caspian/Gaastra Truck 2 is a 1978 pumper mounted on a two door International Loadstar 1700 fire chassis with a 150Hp Gas engine with a 5 speed Manual Transmission. Truck 2 has a 1000 Gallon Per Minute Bean pump with a side mount control Panel and a 750 Gallon Tank.There is (2) 2-1/2 inch discharge on the Driver side,(1) 2-1/2 inch Discharge on the Passenger Side,(1) 2-1/2 inch Discharge on the Rear,(1) 2-1/2 inch inlet on the Drivers Side,(2) 6 inch inlets (1) one each side. The Truck Has four low Compartments, The Truck also houses two Hard suction lines, and ladders on the Sides. The Truck Also has Hose Storage on the top, And also has axes on Back With two compartments for storage. The truck is also equipped with booster reals, fire hoses and equipment that are used on scene.
Caspian/Gaastra Truck 3 is a 1998 Ford equipment van with two front driver doors, a side access, and two doors on rear For access to Equipment.Truck three holds up to 7 people, it has 5 SCBA Strap and Pack holders with packs, it has 10 Bottle storage for SCBA Bottles.Truck 3 also has 2 Negative pressure fans, Extension Cords, First Aid kits, Saws, a Thermo Imaging Camera, Extra Gear, And Water. Truck 3 is used primarily for hauling equipment to and from an emergency scene.
Caspian/Gaastra Truck 4 is a Cooperative with the Michigan DNR Chevy 1/2 Ton. with a slip in 250 gallon tank that includes booster reel and place to hold rakes, back pack Extinguishers and many supplies. Truck 4 is used for grass fires and getting into places you could not reach with truck 1,2,or 5.
Caspian/Gaastra Truck 5 is a Cooperative with the Michigan DNR 1971 Kaiser Jeep 6x6 Deuce @ 1/2 tanker. Truck 5 has a 1000 gallon tanke that has a booster pump with discharge reels on the back. Truck 5 is used for grass fire and for hauling the water to the scene.
